Richard has over 30 years’ experience in strategy and organizational effectiveness in North America, Europe and Asia, predominantly in aviation and rail.
Richard previously worked at consulting firms ICF and LeighFisher, advising on strategic planning and organizational reviews for U.S. airports and seaports including those in Los Angeles, Seattle, Houston, Boston, San Diego, San Jose, and Hawaii.
Before 2012, Richard was based in London and worked in the U.K. rail industry. He advised on Network Rail’s creation, then set up and led its internal consulting team, assisting senior management with a turnaround of business performance and organizational effectiveness.
At Steer, Richard advises U.S. airports and other transportation infrastructure clients on strategy, organizational development, and major investment decisions.
