Helen has over 20 years’ experience in travel behaviour change and transport planning, focusing primarily on travel planning.

Helen started her career at Steer in 1997. She specialises in behaviour change, working with clients to promote walking, cycling and public transport, and has maintained a wide portfolio of work with interests in school travel and transport, and accessibility. In recent years, Helen has helped to plan bus networks for schools in Oxford, reviewed travel support initiatives for job seekers in Greater Manchester, and led on the quality assurance of Department for Transport’s bikeability programme.

At Steer, Helen supports our UK planning division in project delivery. She has several years’ experience of both managing and directing transport planning and behaviour change projects across the UK.
